Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden was as star-studded as fans expected, but one of the clearest takeaways from the celebration was how personal it still felt.
The couple were married on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in New York, where the marquee outside the arena later flashed “JUST&T MARRIED.” According to reports, the ceremony drew hundreds of guests from the worlds of music, sports and entertainment.
Also in attendance were ABC’s Good Morning America presenters Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Michael Strahan.
Given their day jobs involve sharing major stories with viewers across the US, it’s perhaps no surprise that some fresh details from the celebration made their way on air.
Even though the wedding took place inside the sprawling 820,000-square-foot New York venue, Roberts said:
‘it really was intimate’
Stephanopoulos echoed that view, saying:
“It’s hard to imagine that a wedding that big, and with such stars could feel so personal, and so intimate.”
Roberts also revealed that the guest list wasn’t made up solely of celebrities, explaining that neighbors and high school friends of the couple were there too.
As for the entertainment, it appears the newlyweds made sure music played a major role. Roberts shared that Fleetwood Mac icon Stevie Nicks performed during the celebration.
The presenters also offered a glimpse into the ceremony itself, with Roberts saying the pair used:
‘their own vows,’
and had
‘little books’
at the altar.
Strahan later congratulated Swift and Kelce and thanked them for including the Good Morning America team in the festivities.
More details about the wedding have also begun to emerge. AP reported that Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, while Swift’s brother Austin served as her man of honor and Kelce’s brother Jason was his best man. The bride wore a Christian Dior Haute Couture gown designed by Jonathan Anderson, paired with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewelry.

The guest list reportedly included a mix of celebrities and athletes, including Camila Cabello, Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, Jason Sudeikis, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid and several NFL players.
So far, the couple haven’t publicly said much about the wedding, but the event has already become one of the most talked-about celebrity celebrations of the year.
