Hudson Williams, 25, hit the Toronto International Film Festival red carpet Thursday dripping in nearly $700,000 worth of Bulgari diamonds and a custom pavé grill.
The “Heated Rivalry” star made his entrance at the “Yaga” premiere wrapped in the Italian jeweler’s High Jewelry Serpenti necklace, a white gold piece featuring pear-cut diamond snake eyes and encrusted with pavé stones. A similar design is currently listed for $525,000 on 1stDibs.
He stacked the look with matching High Jewelry Serpenti earrings in yellow and white gold, set with 36 marquise cut diamonds, pavé diamonds and four pear-cut rubies split between both ears. A comparable pair runs about $115,000 USD based on published brand pricing, though Bulgari notes that pricing for both the necklace and earrings is officially “available upon request.”
The Kelowna, B.C. Native also flashed a Serpenti ring featuring emerald eyes and 3.58 carats of pavé diamonds, retailing at $59,000 and available to shop online.
The finishing touch came from his teeth. Jeweler Christy Cash iced out Williams’ top incisors and canines in a custom pavé diamond grill.
Cash is no stranger to the actor’s mouth. She previously created his Met Gala after-party grill back in May, a white gold, opal and diamond set that included a tiny Venus de Milo sculpture as an artful homage to the museum.
For the premiere, stylist Anastasia Walker dressed Williams head to toe in Nigerian brand Orange Culture. The look paired a black lapel-less Sap blazer with an open back and matching trousers with a red chiffon Sunfade shirt that carried a floor-skimming train. Red Fly faux-leather mules completed the outfit, with grooming by Aika Flores.
The “Yaga” premiere marked a major moment for the rising Canadian actor. In the modern take on the Baba Yaga folk legend, Williams plays a missing fishery heir alongside Carrie-Anne Moss and Noah Reid. The Crave series is set to premiere Oct. 23 in Canada and on AMC+ in the US.
Williams has been building momentum on both sides of the border. He currently stars in “Heated Rivalry,” the hit Crave hockey romance that has him sharing the screen with Connor Storrie. Production on Season 2 is already underway.
The Bulgari moment caps a breakout year for Williams that has seen him move from Met Gala after-parties to TIFF’s most photographed red carpet. The combined weight of his premiere jewelry — nearly 80 carats across necklace, earrings and ring, before even counting the grill stones — placed him among the most heavily iced men at this year’s festival.
