Jelly Roll’s Net Worth Revealed Amid Divorce From Bunnie Xo After Nearly 10 Years

Jelly Roll’s fortune has come under fresh attention after news broke that he and Bunnie XO are parting ways following nearly a decade of marriage.

TMZ reported that the 41-year-old filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18. A source close to the pair told the outlet the separation was ‘mutual’ and said they are treating it as a ‘private family matter’.

The development has surprised many fans, especially since the couple were seen together at the Grammys in February looking very much in sync.

They were photographed kissing on the red carpet and later celebrated together when Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, picked up the award for Best Contemporary Country Album.

With the split now making headlines, attention has also turned to another common celebrity talking point: how much money he has made.

Several publications now estimate Jelly Roll’s net worth at around $20 million, with some earlier 2026 estimates placing it closer to $16 million.

That figure reflects a dramatic rise from the years when he was better known in hip-hop circles and before his crossover into mainstream country success, where touring, streaming, album sales and brand visibility have all helped expand his earnings.

While that is still a substantial amount, it places him below some of his peers in the music industry, with his earlier criminal record often cited as a factor that affected parts of his career.

His past convictions include robbery and drug possession, and he spent roughly a decade moving in and out of prison and the justice system as a young man.

Those legal issues also created problems when it came to international travel for touring, which is why he sought a pardon in 2025.

That pardon was granted on December 18, 2025, by Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, who praised the singer’s transformation.

“It’s a redemptive, powerful story, which is what you look for and what you hope for,” he added to the Associated Press.

Before the pardon was approved, Jelly Roll spoke to the Tennessee board about wanting his story to help others.

“I want to be an inspiration for people who are now where I used to be – to let them know that change is truly possible.”

He also discussed his past during an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience in 2023, reflecting on the crime that led to one of his earliest major charges.

“At 16, I was charged as an adult for a charge. It was a heinous crime, admittedly. It was horrible. We robbed a couple of guys for some weed, but they called the police because we took some money and some stuff. It was an armed robbery, we went in there with a gun, I regret it every day of my life.”

Jelly Roll, who was born Jason Bradley DeFord in December 1984, has spent the last few years turning that redemption arc into a major career, winning over fans with hits such as ‘Son of a Sinner’ and ‘Need a Favor’ and becoming one of country music’s most recognizable crossover stars.

He and Bunnie XO, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, married in 2016 and have often spoken publicly about their relationship, including the challenges that came with building a life together in the spotlight.

As of now, neither has publicly commented in detail on the reported divorce filing.
