Jennifer Aniston put her boyfriend Jim Curtis on the spot with a racy quip during a rare joint appearance in New York.
The “Friends” alum, 57, and the hypnotist, 50, took the stage together Wednesday at the 92nd Street Y to mark the release of his new book, “The Book of Possibility.” Aniston handled interviewer duties for the evening, drawing on her own childhood connection to the Upper East Side venue.
“I went to Steiner school just down the street so I would come to this gym every Thursday,” she told the audience, per the outlet. “And I wasn’t very sporty, but we had to do dodgeball and there were these huge red balls.”
She continued: “And there was no field; it was just indoors, so you had to run for your life. So it’s quite a full circle moment to be back here with you.”
Then Aniston turned to Curtis and landed the punchline: “Well … speaking of dodging balls …”
The couple’s public outing came just two days after Curtis opened up about their relationship on the “Jamie Kern Lima Show.” The author shared that meditation plays a central role in how they handle conflict.
“We do a lot of meditation. We do a lot of talk,” he said Monday. “I think that at different stages in your relationship, that different tools are really beneficial.”
Curtis added that the romance was “going really well” and that he’s “blessed to be in a relationship with someone that is so openhearted and kind and loving.”
At the close of the Y event, Aniston checked in with her partner: “Have I completely embarrassed you?”
The pair first sparked dating rumors last July when they were spotted on an intimate vacation in Mallorca, Spain. Since then, they have largely kept their relationship private.
Last month, a source said that the couple were “very, very happy,” but “have no intention of ever getting married.”
Aniston was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018.
Curtis is scheduled to continue his book tour with additional appearances in the coming weeks.
