Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Angelina Pivarnick has shared that she experienced a miscarriage not long after her pregnancy was revealed on the MTV series.
The difficult news emerged in the most recent episode, and a teaser for the following week later confirmed the outcome.
Angelina, 39, had only just told audiences she was expecting, after opening up this season about ongoing fertility struggles.
During Thursday’s instalment, however, she said she had started to feel uneasy and feared something might be wrong.
“I’m just not feeling myself,” Angelina said in a confessional. “Some stuff’s happening with me and my pregnancy and I don’t know what’s going on and I don’t even know what to do.”
Later, she went to see castmate Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and explained she had been experiencing spotting.
“I’m spotting,” Angelina told her. “I’m wearing a pad right now.”

Sammi, who has previously spoken about her own pregnancy loss, appeared immediately alarmed as Angelina described what was happening.
“I’m going to be honest with you, when I miscarried, like a chemical pregnancy, I was spotting right away,” Sammi explained.
“So to me, I’m getting a little concerned for you.” She encouraged Angelina to seek urgent medical advice, suggesting she go to the emergency room to get clarity and reassurance.
“I don’t want to think the worst, but for your own peace of mind, go to the ER,” she added. In another confessional, Angelina admitted she felt “definitely scared” about what she might be told.
A preview for next week’s episode then revealed the tragic result, with Angelina confirming what had happened.
“I woke up in the middle of the night,” Angelina says in the teaser. “I’m actively miscarrying.”
The update follows the May 14 episode in which she first told viewers about the unexpected pregnancy. At the time, she said she’d tested positive despite thinking conception without assistance might not be possible for her.
“There’s no way that it just happened naturally,” she said during the episode while discussing her fertility journey.

In a confessional recorded before the miscarriage, Angelina became emotional while speaking about the moment she learned she was pregnant.
“I did not think I was able to get pregnant, but wow, I’m pregnant,” she said. “This could be my fairy tale, my path, my baby.”
The episode also showed Angelina calling the baby’s father—identified on the show as “John Doe-Nor”—to share the news.
“I am officially, definitely pregnant, we’re having a baby!” she said over the phone. That same night, she also wrote online: “I’m pregnant!!!!”
So far, she has not made any additional public statements about the miscarriage outside of what has aired on the programme.
Following the episode, messages of support have poured in across social media, with many viewers commending Angelina for discussing such a painful and personal experience on camera.
