Katie Holmes made her romance with Jason Bard Yarmosky Instagram-official on Tuesday.
The actress, 47, marked the artist’s birthday with a public tribute that put their months-long courtship firmly in the open. Holmes shared a photo of the couple embracing alongside a picture of Yarmosky’s birthday cake, writing, “Happy Birthday to the best of the best…❤️ @jasonbardyarmosky.”
The post arrives weeks after the pair soft-launched their relationship on social media. Last month, Holmes re-shared multiple Instagram Stories that Yarmosky had posted, including a photo he appeared to have taken of her.
Their connection first drew attention in July, when an eyewitness spotted them holding hands at a Hamptons movie screening. “He was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing, they seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night,” the observer shared.
Reports said that Holmes and Yarmosky, 39, initially crossed paths at a Tribeca Festival dinner in New York City in June.
By later that month, the outlet had obtained photos of the pair looking smitten during a dinner date in Manhattan. The snaps showed them wrapping their arms around each other as they walked through the city, unable to keep their hands off one another.
Despite their visible closeness, the relationship remains in its early stages. An insider exclusively revealed that Holmes has not introduced Yarmosky to her daughter, Suri, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
“Things are still pretty new between Katie and Jason, and they’re intentionally taking it slow. They haven’t been introduced to other’s families or done any of that yet,” the source said.
The insider continued, “Right now, they’re just enjoying spending time together.”
“There haven’t been any major steps in the relationship yet, they’re still in the dating phase for now. They’re happy taking things as they come and seeing where it goes,” the source added.
The measured pace marks a contrast to the public nature of their summer appearances, which have steadily escalated from private festival introductions to shared social media posts and now a birthday declaration on the grid.
Holmes previously made red carpet debuts with musician Bobby Wooten III in 2022 before that relationship ended.
