Lady Gaga’s inner circle suspects she has already married Michael Polansky in secret.
The “Poker Face” singer, 40, has gone more than a month without any public sightings, fueling speculation among friends that she and Polansky, 42, quietly eloped and are now honeymooning, a source said on Tuesday. The same insider claimed the couple may be “trying to make a baby” during their time away from the spotlight.

Gaga has long been open about her desire to become a mother. “Being a mom is the thing I want the most,” she said during a 2024 appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” She added of her then-fiancé: “And he’s gonna be a beautiful father. We’re really excited about that.”
The source told the outlet that Gaga’s own family history has shaped her vision for parenthood. “She has only one sister, Natali, and always wanted more siblings,” the insider said. “So she wants her children to have many siblings so they can all lean on each other.”

Despite her absence from public events, Gaga has maintained a limited social media presence to promote her Haus Labs makeup line. On Aug. 25, she posted a captionless Polaroid photo of herself to her accounts, offering no explanation for the image or her whereabouts.

The last confirmed sighting of the singer came in August, when she stopped to take a selfie with a fan in Northern California. Before that, she had appeared at the Grove in Los Angeles for an event in May.
Gaga and Polansky, who began dating in 2019, confirmed their engagement during the 2024 Paris Olympics, though reports suggest she waited several months before making the news public. The couple has consistently signaled that any wedding would be intimate rather than extravagant.
“We don’t want a really big wedding, but we want to enjoy it,” Polansky said in a November interview. “In a lot of ways, we already feel married, so it’s not like it’s gonna change much.”
Gaga herself raised the possibility of a spontaneous ceremony during that same conversation. “It’s like, ‘OK, can we get married that weekend?'” she said, describing the temptation to elope during brief breaks in her schedule.

She had previously floated an even more casual scenario during her “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” appearance, mentioning that the couple had considered “going to the courthouse” and “ordering Chinese food” to mark the occasion.

By March of this year, Gaga was offering more concrete hints about the timeline. During an appearance on Bruno Mars’ “Romantic Radio” iHeartRadio livestream, she told listeners, “We’re getting married soon.”

The singer wrapped her 12-month-long Mayhem Ball Tour in April, leaving her calendar relatively open in the months since. That scheduling flexibility, combined with her reported preference for privacy, has only intensified the speculation among those close to her.
A representative for Gaga was not immediately available to the outlet for comment on the elopement rumors.

The “Die With a Smile” singer has built a career on theatrical spectacle and bold public statements, yet her approach to romance has remained notably guarded. She and Polansky have rarely discussed their relationship in detail, and the tech entrepreneur has stayed largely out of the entertainment press.

Gaga is scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
