Melanie Griffith has spoken out about her recent wellness retreat stay.
The 69-year-old actress spent several weeks at VIVAMAYR Maria Wörth, a luxury health resort on the shores of Austria’s Lake Wörthersee, and shared photos from the getaway on Instagram Wednesday. Griffith posted a carousel of images showing her in a black one-piece swimsuit while lounging on a deck chair, posing with her arms up on a boat, and practicing yoga in a hot pink sports bra with matching leggings.
Griffith took the resort’s signature “the Cure” program, a medically supervised detox and wellness regime. She wrote on Instagram that her “health reset” gave her “the chance to truly recharge, replenish and relax.”
“I’m so grateful to all of the wonderful doctors, therapists and health practitioners who make the experience so special. -A little heaven on earth. ♥️,” she gushed on the platform.
Fans flooded the post with praise. “You look relaxed and even more beautiful! ❤️,” one comment reads. Another follower wrote, “Lookin’ radiant & serene Sister. ❤️.” A third added, “looking like an angel! ❤️.”
The “Working Girl” star is a mother of three. She shares daughter Dakota Johnson, 36, with her first ex-husband, actor Don Johnson, whom she married twice; son Alexander Bauer, 41, with her second ex-husband, actor Steven Bauer; and daughter Stella Banderas, 29, with her third ex-husband, actor Antonio Banderas.
Griffith and Banderas, 66, remain close nearly a decade after their 2014 divorce. The “Mask of Zorro” star spoke about their enduring friendship in an August interview. “When I go to Los Angeles, we get together anyway, we [have] a lot of fun. We laugh and we just … it’s a very healthy thing, and it was very healthy for our kids,” he said.
He added, “If [Griffith] is not my best friend, [she is] one of my best friends.”
The former couple put that bond on display in April when they linked arms during a night out in Los Angeles, smiling alongside daughter Stella and her husband, Alex Gruszynski.
Griffith has not announced her next project.
