Nicole Scherzinger revealed a severe leg burn she suffered just before taking the stage in Germany.
The Pussycat Dolls singer, 48, posted a graphic photo on Instagram Story Sunday showing blistered, darkened skin on her leg after boiling water fell on it. The injury came roughly one hour before she was scheduled to perform Saturday night at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf.
“Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set — But the show must go on,” Scherzinger wrote on the platform.
She continued, “Thanks Düsseldorf for keeping me going. See you soon Amsterdam.”
The group played Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on Sunday as part of the PCD Forever tour. Only three members are participating in the European leg: Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts.
Scherzinger has been documenting her travels across the continent with upbeat posts. On Saturday, she shared video of herself dancing through Paris streets with fiancé Thom Evans, a former Scottish rugby player she became engaged to in June 2023.
“Dancing in the city of love with my love,” she wrote over the footage.
Last week, she posted about her first-ever performance in Warsaw, Poland, connecting it to her heritage.
“My first time in Poland!! I come from Polish ancestry, so being here feels like coming home to a piece of my roots,” she shared on Instagram.
The European dates follow a major setback for the reunited group. In May, the Pussycat Dolls canceled nearly all North American shows on the tour, citing poor ticket sales in a statement.
“When we announced the PCD Forever Tour, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world,” the group said at the time. “After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North American dates.”
One industry insider was less diplomatic about the commercial failure.
“No one f–king cares about Pussycat Dolls. It was inevitable that tour would get canceled,” they said.
A source familiar with the band’s ticket sales described them as a “low-ticket audience brand,” meaning arena prices would need to stay low to draw sufficient crowds.
Despite the North American collapse, Scherzinger has maintained an enthusiastic presence online throughout the European run, posting regularly ahead of performances and sharing personal moments from the road.
The Pussycat Dolls are scheduled to perform in Glasgow.
