Beyonce and Jay-Z Become the Top 2 Grammy Nominees of All Time

Beyonce garnered the most 2023 Grammy nominations on Tuesday, with nine in total, tying her with her husband, rapper Jay-Z, as the most nominated artists of all time. Beyonce and Jay Z have each received 88 nominations for the peer-voted music awards.  Jay-Z was nominated for five 2023 Grammys for his work to Renaissance and DJ Khaled’s song “God Did.” Jay-Z surpassed legendary Beatle Paul McCartney’s record of 83 nominations in 2021.  The “Run This Town” singer, on the other hand, found his match in wife Beyonce at the 2023 awards. Kendrick Lamar has eight nominations this Grammy season, while Adele and Brandi Carlile both have seven. Beyonce’s album “Renaissance” is nominated for album of the year, while her song “Be Alive,” which appeared in the film “King Richard,” was nominated for R&B. She received nominations in many categories, including song and record of the year for her chart-topping single “Break My Soul.”
