Rachel Danis has spoken out about how she met Patrick Clancy, revealing their origin story days before the couple’s joint “60 Minutes” interview.
Danis, 37, a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at a New York City clinic, shared the details in a teaser clip for the CBS program airing Sunday evening. She described encountering Clancy during a routine jog through Manhattan’s most famous park.
“I was just a girl that met a guy running in Central Park on a really cold Saturday,” she said in the preview footage.
The couple’s relationship has drawn intense scrutiny from online commentators since it became public, particularly given the circumstances surrounding Clancy’s recent past. Danis directly addressed the backlash they’ve faced in the same promotional segment.
