Scott Wolf and his estranged wife Kelley Wolf have announced they will proceed with their divorce despite months of reconciliation efforts following her public mental health crisis.
The “Party of Five” actor, 58, and Kelley, 49, shared the decision in a joint statement on Thursday. The exes explained that after being “home together as a family, focusing on healing, rebuilding and finding stability after an extraordinarily difficult season,” they ultimately concluded they would “move forward with our divorce.”

“Our hearts are heavy, but they are also filled with gratitude for the years we spent together, for all that we shared and built, for our loving marriage, and most of all, for our incredible children,” the former couple added. They share sons Jackson, 17, and Miller, 13, and daughter Lucy, 12.
The pair emphasized they remain committed to co-parenting. “We now move forward into this next chapter, guided by love as co-parents to our children, and by our shared commitment to the best and brightest future for our family,” they continued.

The announcement follows a carefully documented reunion that began in February, when the Wolf family gathered at Universal Studios Hollywood. In a joint social media post dated “2/20/2026,” Kelley and Scott posed with their three children and captioned the image: “Healing. 💙💙💙💙💙 Thank you @unistudios for an epic day at the park! So much fun! 🙏🏻💛.”

Scott had previously opened up about his motivation for the reunion. “I love all of those four people and all of those four people love each other,” he said, referring to Kelley and their children. He added that he felt his “family deserved to have things not just sit in some kind of awful dark place in terms of perception.”

The reconciliation attempt came after an extraordinarily turbulent period that began last June, when Kelley announced the couple’s divorce after 21 years of marriage. Three days later, the certified life and personal development coach was detained and hospitalized on an involuntary hold after accusing the “Doc” star of “abusing” her. That same month, she claimed she was placed on a second involuntary hold and alleged police brutality during the detainment.

Kelley later offered a public explanation for her actions. In August, she revealed on Instagram that she had been diagnosed with “breakthrough drug-induced mania with psychosis,” which she attributed to stress, past trauma, hormonal changes, hallucinogens and prescription medications. The episode made her feel as though her “brain had been hijacked,” she shared.

She also issued a direct apology to the “Everwood” alum for putting him through what she described as “a nightmare that wouldn’t even fly in a movie script.” Scott responded to Kelley’s candid post by simply writing “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️” in her comments section.

After the exes reached a new temporary agreement covering custody, finances and communication, Scott dropped a restraining order against Kelley. The family then spent months attempting to rebuild, culminating in the February reunion at Universal Studios and their subsequent time living together.

The former couple expressed appreciation for outside support during the process. They said they are “deeply grateful” for the backing they received through the difficult time, even as they now prepare to formally end their marriage.
