Russell Brand sat motionless and offered no response when detectives put graphic rape allegations to him during a police interview in July.
The Metropolitan Police footage, released after the comedian’s conviction last Thursday, shows Brand, 51, in an interrogation room wearing an army green jacket over a white v-neck shirt as an investigator reads a woman’s account of anal rape at his home.

The investigator told him the woman claimed Brand removed his condom before the assault. “The condom that he had been wearing had been removed at some point before the anal rape and was now on the floor,” the investigator said. “Mr. Brand then told her to clean up the mess on the bed and he left the room.”
She further alleged that another man entered and ordered her to leave because Brand had a show that evening, and that the same driver who brought her to the house then drove her to Hampstead tube station.

When the investigator finished and asked, “What is your response to this allegation?” Brand replied simply: “I have nothing further to add at this time.”
He remained silent and expressionless throughout the reading of the allegations, the footage shows.
The interview recording was among a cache of material released by London’s Metropolitan Police following Brand’s conviction at Southwark Crown Court. The collection included several photographs of a young Brand performing at the Soapbox Cabaret, a political comedy show in Bournemouth, England, in 1999.

Also among the files was a hand-drawn map of the MTV and Viacom offices marking bathrooms, elevators and entrances, a 2012 photograph of a building at 2 Great Titchfield Street in London, and an older photograph labeled “RB 2004.”

Brand was found guilty Thursday of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault after a four-week trial. He was acquitted of two additional rape charges and one charge of attempted indecent assault.

The judge, Justice Joel Bennathan, told Brand he faces a “significant” prison sentence. Shortly after the verdict, the judge reportedly told him, “Sit down, Mr. Brand,” and remarked that the case was “very well planned.”
Brand, who denied all allegations, maintained throughout that his sexual encounters were consensual. He was taken into custody immediately after the verdict.

The disgraced British comedian is already facing further investigation. The Metropolitan Police are probing multiple additional rape allegations against him, including one from a woman who was 16 at the time of the alleged incident. A pre-trial hearing revealed, per the US Sun, that this complainant dated Brand when he was 30 and she was 16.

Brand is scheduled to be sentenced Monday in London.
