Shocking New Details Emerge in Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s Divorce

Fresh details have surfaced about the breakup of Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo, as court records show the country star has filed for divorce.

According to reports from court documents, Jelly Roll, whose legal name is Jason Bradley DeFord, filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo, born Alisa Andrea DeFord, in Tennessee on May 18, 2026. The filing reportedly cites ‘irreconcilable differences’ and lists the couple’s date of separation as May 9, 2026.

The split comes after nearly 10 years of marriage. Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo married in 2016 after meeting years earlier in Las Vegas, and they renewed their vows in 2023.

So far, neither Jelly Roll nor Bunnie Xo has publicly addressed the divorce filing.

Even before the news became public, some followers had begun to suspect that the relationship was under strain.

Bunnie Xo had shared social media updates showing herself enjoying time out with a friend, including dancing and horse riding, while Jelly Roll appeared in several posts without his wedding band.

Online speculation intensified after fans noticed the change in Jelly Roll’s ring placement, with one writing: “Wedding ring has been moved onto the left pointer finger since feb/march,” and adding: “Are they actually separated?”

Bunnie Xo has also shared lingerie photos on Instagram, telling followers she is ‘getting her sparkle back’.

Their relationship has faced serious challenges before. Jelly Roll previously acknowledged being unfaithful, later referring to it as the ‘worst moment’ of his life.

In her memoir Stripped Down, released in February, Bunnie Xo reflected on the effect that betrayal had on her, writing: “It would take years for me to put the affair aside. It would take years to actually feel like this man loved me — that I wasn’t disposable.”

She added in the memoir: “I contemplated taking my life. The pain was so intense that I genuinely just wanted to end it all.

Despite those past difficulties, the pair renewed their vows in 2023 and continued to present a united front publicly, including a joint appearance at the Grammys in February.

Jelly Roll had also thanked Bunnie in his Grammy acceptance speech earlier this year, underscoring just how visible and supportive their relationship had remained before the breakup news surfaced.
