Guests at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelceās wedding apparently got more than dinner and dancing, as some attendees also walked away with lavish raffle prizes.
Yes, really. Alongside the ceremony and reception, the couple reportedly turned part of the night into a high-end raffle, with guests competing for luxury prizes during the celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday, July 3.
And these werenāt small novelty giveaways either. One of the prizes that has now come to light was a designer handbag worth thousands of dollars.
Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Kelce were married in front of around 1,000 guests, with the crowd said to include a long list of famous friends, family, teammates and A-list names from music, film and television.
The guest list was stacked with familiar names, including Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Ed Sheeran, Adam Sandler, who officiated, and several of Kelceās teammates.
Among those in attendance were Jackie Tranquill and her husband Drue Tranquill, the Kansas City Chiefs linebacker.
It seems they had even more reason to celebrate.
Jackie later shared a social media post about the wedding, including photos of the coupleās newborn son and a look at the festivities.
In one image, she appeared to be holding a raffle ticket, while a Chanel handbag could be seen in the background.
Based on the photos, the bag appears to be a Chanel 25 small handbag in grained calfskin with gold-tone metal. According to Chanelās website, that style retails for $6,700.
Not a bad thing to take home after attending a wedding.
āFreedom, Friends & fĆŗtbol,ā Tranquill captioned the post, which also included images of her purple floral wedding guest gown, some good food, and the Fourth of July celebrations.
She added a ācongrats to the newly weds ā and āHappy 250th America & of course, letās go USA!ā
āWHAT A WEEKEND, WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!,ā she ended the post saying.
And that reportedly wasnāt the only high-end item given away.
Hollywood, Avril Lavigne also won a Chanel bag during the wedding celebrations, while another raffle prize was said to be a 1970 Chevy.
Other reports suggested the reception may have included additional luxury giveaways, with guests possibly earning raffle entries through games and activities set up during the night.
Unsurprisingly, the raffle sparked a mixed response online. Some people loved the idea, while others were less impressed.

Several celebrity guests later shared glimpses of the event on social media.
Jessica Alba posted a selfie of herself in a black Prada dress, set to Swiftās āLove Storyā.

Adam Scott also shared a photo with his wife Naomi, alongside Paul Rudd and Julie Yaeger.

Niecy Nash posted a video of herself and her wife Jessica Betts heading to the venue.
She wrote:

British radio host Greg James revealed he was feeling the effects of the celebration the next day.
āI am currently experiencing the world’s greatest hangover and am unable to reply to the hilarious number of messages I have received over the last 24 hours.
āBut just&t to say: true to her word, of course the invitation arrived and of course I couldn’t tell anyone. And oh my god what an unbelievably brilliant night. I’m off for a nap.ā
Suki Waterhouse, who had previously confirmed that she would be attending, posted a series of photos afterward.
Waterhouse, who previously confirmed her wedding attendance to Variety, shared a series of images with the caption: āNYC, NYC, land of love.ā
On Sunday, she posted a Story with the Francis Bacon quote: āI often work best with a hangover because my mind is crackling with energy and I can think very clearly.ā
Kelsea Ballerini also reflected on the event in her Instagram Stories.
“Watched my favorite singer fall in love and get married. (cries for several business days)ā singer-songwriter Ballerini wrote on her Instagram Story.
In a separate post, she added: āCongrats on the most beautiful wedding @taylorswift @killatrav iām still crying and dancing.ā
Director Joseph Kahn, who has collaborated with Swift on a number of music videos, shared a lengthy reaction after the ceremony.
āHad a wonderful time at Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce’s wedding last night. I got to meet Steven Spielberg and the lovely Kate Capshaw and talk filmmaking with the GOAT (lifelong dream achieved).

The Modern Family star wrote on Instagram: āI guess I can say now. We were at a wedding in New York City last night. Two truly special people found each other and what a joy to be able to celebrate them. And also, [my wife] Lindsay is so hot.ā
Model Gabriella Brooks also shared photos from the celebration, including one with her fiancƩ Liam Hemsworth.
