Susie Wiles has announced she is cancer-free following treatment for breast cancer.
The 68-year-old White House chief of staff shared the news Wednesday on X after receiving pathology results from the Mayo Clinic. “Some personal news I’m grateful to share,” she wrote. “After a medical appointment at the Mayo Clinic this week, my pathology results came back clear.”
Wiles first revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in March but remained in her post throughout treatment, continuing to work from her West Wing office and travel with the president. She accompanied President Trump to Dallas last week for his midterm convention, showing no public signs of stepping back from duties during her six-month medical battle.
In her Wednesday post, Wiles expressed gratitude to her support network. She thanked her family, friends, and doctors for standing by her during the treatment period.
The chief of staff also singled out the president for his personal backing. “A special thank you to President Trump for his unwavering support,” she wrote. “I am deeply grateful and will continue to work to advance his America First Agenda.”
