Rain Hannah Andreani, longtime girlfriend of Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil, was arrested Sunday on domestic assault charges in Tennessee.
The makeup artist, 49, was booked by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office in Franklin and held on a $5,000 bond before her release Monday. She is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 3.
An insider said that Andreani was taken into custody after allegedly striking Neil, 65, during a heated argument at the rocker’s home. The source claimed Andreani began damaging the property, though what sparked the confrontation remains unclear.
The arrest lands just months after the couple’s relationship appeared to end. Neil and Andreani split in May 2025 following 15 years together, with an insider alleging at the time that the singer suspected infidelity. Photographers soon spotted Neil holding hands with two women during a Nashville outing, reports said. Yet sources indicated the pair had reconciled by June, making the Sunday booking a sharp turn in their on-again, off-again dynamic.
The incident also comes less than a year after Andreani survived a harrowing private jet crash. She was aboard Neil’s aircraft when it collided with a parked plane at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona this past February. The pilot died in the accident. Andreani, traveling with her friend Ashley and their dogs, sustained multiple broken bones and required hospitalization.
Neil has not publicly addressed the arrest or the alleged assault as of press time.
The couple’s history stretches back well before the recent turbulence. Andreani stood by Neil through years of touring and public appearances, including the later phases of Mötley Crüe’s decades-spanning career. The “Can’t Change Me” singer, who helped define 1980s hair metal with hits like “Girls, Girls, Girls,” has faced repeated personal setbacks in recent years, including the fatal crash that injured Andreani and killed his pilot.
The February aviation disaster drew renewed attention to Neil’s private life when details emerged about Andreani’s injuries and her companion’s presence on the flight. The Scottsdale collision occurred as the jet attempted to land, striking an unoccupied aircraft on the ground. Emergency responders transported Andreani for treatment while authorities launched an investigation into the crash’s cause.
With the December court date looming, questions remain about whether prosecutors will pursue the domestic assault case and what penalties Andreani could face if convicted. Tennessee law classifies domestic assault as a misdemeanor in many first-offense cases, though property damage and injury severity can elevate charges.
Neil and Andreani’s relationship had appeared durable through prior difficulties, including the singer’s past legal troubles and health struggles. The May breakup, attributed by sources to cheating suspicions, seemed to mark a definitive endpoint until the reported June reconciliation set up the current conflict.
The National Domestic Violence Hotline can be reached at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or by texting START to 88788 for those affected by domestic assault.
Neil is expected to perform with Mötley Crüe at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
