Melania Trump has faced criticism online after posting a personal update on social media while concern remains high over the escalating war in the Middle East.

Melania Trump, however, has drawn backlash after sharing what some viewed as a tone-deaf update about her own life.
Critics accused the former First Lady of being “insensitive” given the wider conflict, arguing that with Donald Trump at the center of US leadership during the crisis, her public focus should be elsewhere.
The reaction intensified on March 10, when Melania posted about her film, Melania.
In the post, she shared an image suggesting the documentary was the number one movie on Prime Video worldwide. Some commenters pushed back on that claim, saying it may only have held the top position in the US rather than globally.
Plenty of people replied directly, with several taking issue with her promoting the project at a time they described as deeply unstable for the country and the world.
One user remarked: “Gross. She doesn’t deserve a documentary. I will never watch it.”
Another wrote: “Can you believe this is what the so called First Lady’s biggest issue is in a time of war?”
With a third adding: “I’m not asking you to HELP de-escalate tensions, find a compromise, visit families but maybe at least you could be keeping your husband from destructing the world!?”

Still, others defended the documentary and said they were pleased to see it gaining attention, with some reporting they’d watched it both in theaters and on streaming.
