Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polansky have welcomed their first child together, the outlet can confirm.
The Grammy winner, 40, and the entrepreneur, 42, have kept an extremely low profile in recent months, fueling online speculation about their relationship. Gaga had not been seen publicly since August, when she stopped for a selfie with a fan in Northern California, and before that had made a rare appearance at The Grove in Los Angeles in May.
“They have an amazing biodome of love. Seems like a really safe place for her,” a source close to the singer said, adding that “everything is good” and expressing strong support for Polansky’s presence in Gaga’s life. The same source noted that Gaga “hasn’t really gotten to have a private life since she was like 22” and has been deliberately “laying low since the tour ended.”

The couple, who began dating in 2019, got engaged in March 2024. Since then, Gaga has spoken with unusual openness about her desire to become a mother, even as she wrestled with what the shift would mean for her career-focused existence.

“I’m excited to be a mom. I used to have a lot of apprehension about it,” she said in a March 2025 interview.
“The thing that’s the most important to me is to not force my children to live a life that they are not choosing. So the more that we can give them space to discover who they are on their own, that’s the thing that I believe in the most.”

Yet Gaga was candid about the internal conflict she felt. “I’m also kind of at war with myself sometimes as I get ready to, hopefully, become a mom soon,” she told the outlet. “Like, today is wonderful, but the whole day has revolved around me. There’s an incredible amount of narcissism in this.”
She continued, “How do I live a life where I’m passionate about my art while also making more space for other things?”

By October 2025, Gaga appeared to have found her answer. Appearing on “The Stephen Colbert Show,” the “Joker 2” actress made her priorities unmistakably clear.

“I would like to do many things,” she said. “All of these things are open. But, what I really want, is to be a mom. That’s my next starring role, I hope.”

The baby marks the first child for both Gaga, born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, and Polansky. Additional details including the infant’s name, sex, and exact date of birth remain undisclosed. Reps for the couple did not respond to requests for comment.

Gaga wrapped her latest tour, The Mayhem Ball, in April after nearly nine months and 86 shows across the globe. The demanding schedule appears to have given way to a deliberately quieter chapter, one that the couple has guarded closely from public view.

The engagement itself came after roughly five years of dating, with Polansky, a Harvard graduate and tech investor, becoming an increasingly visible presence at Gaga’s side through major career moments including her Oscar-nominated turn in “A Star Is Born” and her more recent “Joker: Folie à Deux” promotional cycle.
