Amanda Kloots has confirmed she and Justin Gimelstob have ended their year-long romance.

The TV personality, 44, revealed the split Wednesday while attending the 8th Annual Daytime Beauty Awards, saying that she and the former pro tennis player, 49, are “still very good friends” despite no longer being a couple. The professional dancer and former “The Talk” co-host was direct when asked about their status, saying simply, “No, not currently.”

Kloots hasn’t abandoned hope for future love, though. “I believe in love. I definitely want that in my life,” she said at the event. For the time being, her energy is directed elsewhere. “Right now I’ve really just been focused on work and Elvis and myself and just making sure I’m the best version of me,” she noted. She described this period as personally restorative, adding, “It’s been very good and healing and rewarding, so that’s where I’m at right now.”

The fitness entrepreneur shares her 7-year-old son, Elvis, with her late husband, Broadway actor Nick Cordero, who died in 2020 at age 41 after a prolonged battle with COVID-19. Kloots and Cordero married in 2017 after meeting as performers in “Bullets Over Broadway.” She had previously been married to actor David Larsen from 2007 until their divorce in 2015.
