Kelly Osbourne returned to the red carpet Tuesday at London’s O2 Arena, stepping out in a bold Vivienne Westwood gown just days after she addressed the public concern over her frail appearance.
The 41-year-old television personality chose a blue and brown tartan off-the-shoulder design for the National Television Awards 2026, pairing it with layered necklaces, drop earrings, and dramatic makeup featuring bright blue eyeshadow to match her dress. She wore her blonde hair slicked back in a bun and brought her close friend Bradley Riches as her date to the ceremony.
Kelly was there to support “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home,” the documentary filmed over three years leading up to her father Ozzy Osbourne’s death in July 2025. The project was nominated in the Authored Documentary category but lost to “Our Girls: The Southport Families.”
Speaking to Metro on the red carpet, Kelly reflected on the difficult period she has endured in the public eye. “It’s sad that it had to get to a point to where people had to stand up for me and say something,” she said. “It’s hard to grieve anyone. I would never wish that upon anybody.”
“But to have to do it in front of the world, and then get judged for the way that you do it, was even harder,” Kelly added.
The “Fashion Police” alum expressed gratitude for those who defended her during her weight loss struggle. “I’m grateful” for the “beautiful people in this world that showed me kindness, love and support” after her father’s death, she told the outlet.
Kelly also revealed she has not been able to watch the documentary herself because it remains “too painful.” Still, she emphasized the significance of the nomination for her family.
“What I think is so special is to everyone who voted for it, whether we win or not, you’ve been a part of our life story and the journey with our family from day one to now,” she explained. “The fact that we’re even here tonight being nominated is because of you, and we’re so grateful as a family.”
She praised the BBC crew for their sensitivity during filming. “It’s a devastating story,” Kelly noted, “but it’s also a really beautiful one.”
The red carpet appearance marked a notable shift from where Kelly stood just months earlier. She recently said that she wore a wig to conceal her weight loss at the 2026 Grammy Awards in February, where Ozzy was honored with a special tribute.
“I looked like the f–king Crypt Keeper,” Kelly admitted, describing how she “was in so much pain” and felt like “a broken person” after her dad’s death.
Her personal life has faced additional strain. Kelly separated from her fiancé, Sid Wilson, in March. But last month she offered a more hopeful assessment of her condition, sharing that she was “getting a lot better” and receiving help for her weight loss struggles.
“It’s going to take me a minute. I’m not going to be fixed in a day. I’m not going to be fixed on one therapy session,” the mother of one said at the time.
She continued, “This is a lifetime of work I’ve got to do and continue to do for the rest of my life.”
The documentary chronicling Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s final years together represented a full-circle moment for a family that built much of its public identity on television. From the early 2000s MTV reality show “The Osbournes” through various spin-offs and appearances, the family has long invited cameras into their lives.
That history made the public scrutiny of Kelly’s grieving process particularly acute.
