One guest at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding left with a particularly memorable keepsake after catching Swift’s bouquet and later sharing the moment with followers on Instagram.
Swift and Kelce were married on Friday, July 3, 2026, in a star-packed ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Reports from the event said the guest list included a mix of entertainment and sports figures, with the couple surrounded by hundreds of friends and family for the celebration.
The lucky bouquet catcher was Ashley Smith, the sister of Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith.
Ashley later posted about the moment on Instagram, alongside a photo of herself wearing a floor-length black sequinned dress with a thigh-high split while holding the pink-and-white flowers.
“Celebrated an Enchanting Love S(T+T)ory [white heart emoji].
“And somehow…I ended up catching Tay Tay’s bouquet. [bouquet emoji]
“So here’s to believing it’s bringing a lifetime of love, luck, and laughter my way.
“Congratulations, Taylor & Travis! Cheers to forever T&T,” Ashely concluded, along with a champagne emoji in between two white hearts.
Ashley’s connection to the NFL goes beyond her brother, too. According to CBS News, she works in the league’s player engagement program, which supports players in both their personal and professional development.
Her post also offered another glimpse into the wedding itself.
The final image in her carousel appeared to show personalised napkins from the ceremony, featuring Swift and Kelce’s “T&T” insignia.

There was also a reference to Swift’s 2014 track Blank Space, with the line “So it’s gonna be forever…” printed on the napkins.
The date and venue, Madison Square Garden, were included as well.
Swift’s publicist confirmed the marriage took place at the New York venue, where actor Adam Sandler served as the unexpected officiant and Stevie Nicks was among the performers. The event drew an array of celebrity guests from across music, film and sport.
Several other attendees have since posted their own thoughts and snapshots from the celebration online.
Here’s a look at some of the guests who have shared moments from the day on social media.

“Welcome to the club!”

Greg James used Instagram Stories to reveal he had been there too, though recovering the next day.
“I am currently experiencing the world’s greatest hangover and am unable to reply to the hilarious number of messages I have received over the last 24 hours.
“But just&t to say: true to her word, of course the invitation arrived and of course I couldn’t tell anyone. And oh my god what an unbelievably brilliant night. I’m off for a nap.”
Suki Waterhouse, who had previously confirmed to Variety that she would be attending, later posted a set of photographs captioned:
“NYC, NYC, land of love.”
She followed that up on Sunday with another Story quoting Francis Bacon.
“I often work best with a hangover because my mind is crackling with energy and I can think very clearly.”

Kelsea Ballerini also shared her reaction after watching the ceremony unfold.
“Watched my favorite singer fall in love and get married. (cries for several business days)” singer-songwriter Ballerini wrote on her Instagram Story.
In a separate post, she added: “Congrats on the most beautiful wedding @taylorswift @killatrav i’m still crying and dancing.”

Director Joseph Kahn, who has collaborated with Swift on multiple videos, offered one of the most detailed responses.
“Had a wonderful time at Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce’s wedding last night. I got to meet Steven Spielberg and the lovely Kate Capshaw and talk filmmaking with the GOAT (lifelong dream achieved).
“What I will say about the wedding was it was so much funnier and emotional than expected, and as big as it was, it also felt very intimate. And yes, literally everyone was there. I told Lotte many times it was like living in the internet, and AI would crack if it tried to render it.
“Anyway congratulations Taylor and Travis! Wishing your beautiful family and future family endless happiness!”
Gayle King also joined those posting after the event.
Sharing several photos, King penned: “JusT&T married,” along with five white heart emojis.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson kept things short but heartfelt in his post.
